Sal's Speed Shop and Raceway Ford (Riverside, CA) present Ford Nationals West on Sat. Sept. 21 at Los Angeles County Raceway in Palmdale, CA. This will be the biggest all Ford drag racing event in SoCal. There will be 7 classes in which to race. 1.All Ford Money 2.All Ford trophy 3. Mustang slick tire 4. Mustang street tire 5.All Ford truck 6.Quick Sixteen 7.Open grudge. Cost to race is $20.00 (except money classes). $10.00 to watch. Scott, are you planning to attend in your superchargered V-6, if so perhaps you would like to know that at our last event we had a procharger powered V-6 racing in the 14 second range. An as far as I know this mustang will be racing again at this event. Maybe a head to head race?

I am planning to cover the event but I don't have a supercharged V6 to bring along with me. I am looking forward to seeing that supercharged V6 though

Both of my stangs are 5.0L and naturally asperated. Hoping to turbocharge the 92 at some point.

Sorry about the mix up Scott. I have 2 mustangs myself, a superchargered 1990 LX (Saleen replica) and a 2001 GT. I raced the GT at the last event. Keep in mind it is totally stock and an automatic. My best 1/4 mile time was a 15.01 @ 93 mph. If anything it will make a good bracket car. By the way, do you know Ron, I should have refered the question to him, do you know firsthand if he plans to attend/race? Well, looking forward to meeting you. We are planning a caravan to LACR the morning of the race. The meeting place is Denny's in Sylmar. The exit is Roxford Ave. the first exit just after the North I-5 and 405 merge. We will be meeting at 7 a.m. and leaving to the track at 7:30 a.m. That way everyone has time to tech and prep.
