Default The Value of a 1965 'Stang (V6)?

Hi, I'm in the market, for a '65 to '67 Mustang.

I came across a really nice little '65 Mustang. I wanted a V8, but this little V6 is almost 80 percent complete and they only want around $3,500

What is a '65 V6 Mustang worth?

The car in question is mechanically sound, paint is nice, upholstery is in good condition, etc... but it being a V6 totally throws me off price wise.

Is there a site I can go to that will give me price estimates on older cars. Kelley's Blue Book doesn't list old cars.

Or could anyone here offer me their opinion on what the price range of a V6 '65 Mustang would be?

I'm in Southern California, BTW.

Thanks,
Jason

personally I enjoy the torquey little inline 6 in my 66, but my mom's v6 in her 2000 also gets up and goes decently. when it comes down to price, it's pretty much how much you are willing to pay for the car. if you're looking for something that's been kept stock or something that's been modified. I bought my 66 for $4000, rebuilt engine put in not too long ago, interior redone, nice rims, some 6x9 3 ways had been installed on the rear shelf. as far as looking up the value of something older, you have to go onto the NADA price guide for classics.
