Question San Diego shop to install 3.73 ring & pinion

I am looking for a San Diego mechanic/shop that does a quality job of installing a 3.73 rear-end gear.

I got a quote from Pro Gear which charged $800 including bearings!!!!
JBA quoted at $360 labor plus parts(read: $550+)
and the guy at West coast transmission will do it for $270 labor plus parts, but it didn't seem like the guy had done very many rear-ends... only differentials and trannies.

I am looking to spend $500 or less..... or is that just unreasonable

Please point me in the right direction if you can.

Thanks!
