JUST FYI THERE IS A LOCAL CLUB IN OLY. THE NAME IS MUSTANG WEST AND THEY MEET ON THE FIRST THURSDAY OF EVERY MONTH AT HAWKS PRARIE INN. THE WEB SITE IS mustangwest.com . MIGHT NOT BE THE CLUBBIN' YOU WANT BUT YOU WILL MEET OTHER STANG LOVERS AND GET TIPS ON TUNING YOUR RIDE.
Sorry the GT 500 does not have a Ford GT engine. It does borrow the heads from the GT super car, but that is it. The GT super car has a totally different aluminum block with totally differend internal parts, the GT500 uses a cast iron block. Their superchargers are different too.
The engine on the far left is a 5.4 GT engine, the engine in the center is a 5.4 GT500 engine and the one on the far right is a 04 4.6 Cobra engine
I don't believe your specs are right. The GT500 has a slightly altered and detuned version of the Ford GT motor. The Triton is a 3 valve motor that shares cyliner heads with the base Mustang v8.

Hey, sorry it has been a long time since I checked in. We just got back from the 1st annual Roullette run in Las Vegas with the Black Mustang Club. We drove our new Shelby Cobra GT500 Black with the red stripe package down there. Had a great time. We put 2245 miles on it. Guess it is broke in now.
Anyway, we are looking for other stangers on the eastside of the state. Anyone know anyone from here in the Tri-cities or surrounding areas that might want to have a meet somewhere close by????
I am on the other side of the state in Spokane, If your ever over in my neck of the woods holler at me. I have 3 mustang projects going at the moment so hopefully one of them will be road worthy in the near future.
Greetings! Bellevue Community College does an annual Mustang show and it's just around the corner. July 19th (judged show) and 20th (people's choice show). I'm curious to hear from anyone that has gone in the past, which is the better day to go?

I enjoyed the BCC show.
Lots of food, cars, and friendly people who are ready and willing to share information with you.
There are a few performance shops who attend, like "Brad's Custom Auto" etc.
Definitely the People's Choice. The last 2 years we have taken our '66 there are easily several hundred cars in attendance on that day. Lots of vendors, door prizes - maybe even a celebrity or two (Parnelli Jones was there last year). If I lived nearby, I might check out the Judged show, but this year I can't - I finally scored reserved seats for the NHRA drags, and am going to try to have my glovebox door signed by the Ford Racing Team.
Don't forget the Autocross on Thursday the 17th in Monroe, and Pony Trails (to Leavenworth) on Friday the 18th! If anyone lives up my way, I'd love to start a caravan to either (have to be in Bellevue by 9am on the 18th). Maybe meet at the Tulalip Casino??
Monroe and Leavenworth are way out of my way. Thanks for the good info on the show. Last year I went to the Judged Show, and it was fun. I may go both days this year but thanks to your tip, I'm definatly going to the People Choice. Sonuds bigger even. Last year at the judged show I think there were only about 200 cars, I could be wrong.
We are coming up for the show on the 20th. Bringing 2 supercharged GT's. One a 99 and one a 03 GT. I guess we'll end up in the 99-04 section if there is one. The 99 supercharger install was just completed last week.
BCC Mustang Roundup was fun. Next weekend is the Good Guys show down in Puyallup. It's not Ford or Mustang only like the BCC show but it is HUGE. 1972 & earlier rods, customs & classics. Tons of vendors too.
Hey i just moved up hre about 6 months ago and I have been trying to find some chill spots for saturday nights for a meet and greet. I also live here in Marysville. Send me a pm if you any more info.
McDonalds in Everett USED to be the place to go on weekends, but I haven't seen that crowd for a few years now, and no new one showed up. If we get a few guys together, I will go again, is Everett to far for you to go?
Hey, I'm all in for a cruise - it's actually my favorite (way more fun than shows, if you ask me). I'm not too far from you guys - in Smokey Point - as long as the weather's nice, count me in.
This coming weekend, though, is the Arlington Drag Strip Reunion show at the Airport - won't miss it for the world. You'll be able to spot us, since our license plate matches my login.

Looks like I'm too late for this. Are there drag races at the Arlington airport?
