Default Good shop in Irvine, CA?

I have a '92 Mustang 5.0lt and was wondering if anyone can recommend a good shop in the Irvine area. The ford needs some work and I want to go somewhere that specializes in Ford. Let me know if you can recommend a shop or tell me shops to avoid. Thank you.

Give this shop a call, I live in San Diego and drive 120 miles one way to have him work on my car. Let him know Ed sent you.

Hey there,

Try GRC Performance in Mission Viejo (http://www.grcperformance.com/). The owner is Umberto Gizzi - tell him Page sent you. He has done nearly all the work on both of our Stangs.

Hope that helps

Me again - should have mentioned - Tuttle-Click Ford in Irvine (Irvine Auto Center) - where I work - also has a great service department. Can do just about anything you might want. In the process of becoming a Ford Racing Performance Parts dealer also (within the next week). If you come here, ask for Danny Smith - tell him Page sent you.

Thanks

Forget Capistrano Ford. They replace my throw-out bearing and gave the car back to me still making noise. Replaced it again. Two days later throw-out bearing noise back. I gave up.

Sounds like your bearing retainer has been marked up. Summit sells a nice hardened one for about $50. Easy to replace yourself, just remove the T5 and the retainer comes out with 4 easy bolts
