Default Cobra Owners Club of America -- Orange County, California

Hi Everyone,
Cobra Owners Club of America, Orange County We would like to cordially invite you to become a member of the Cobra Owners Club of America, Orange County, (COCOA) and share the camaraderie of this 25+ year old organization. COCOA is the oldest Southern California car club, formed to enjoy the original Cobras and Shelby Mustangs. As the club has grown, our memebership has expanded to include Ford enthusiasts of all makes and models. We would encourage you to attend one of our monthly meetings to find out what we're all about. The club meets on the first Wednesday of every month, with meetings presently held at the Cask and Cleaver Steak House (186 North Atchison Street, Orange, CA (714) 532-2660). Our meetings usually include a guest speaker, race or event films, or just good old "bench racing".
Some of our annual events include:
February - SAAC DOES VEGAS
April - WINE COUNTRY TOUR WEEKEND
May/October - OPEN TRACK @ WILLOW SPRINGS RACEWAY
June - CAR SHOW "CONCOURS DE NICE"
July - SAAC ANNUAL CONVENTION
September/October - FALL CRUISE TO SURPRISE LOCATION/GARAGE TOUR
December - ANNUAL CHRISTMAS PARTY & PRESIDENT's CAR SHOW
What COCOA has to offer you:
· Monthly Meetings - with guest speakers such as: Bob Bondurant, Rick Titus, Jerry Grant, Pete Brock, and John Morton.
· Monthly News Letter - with upcoming events, for sale, local event information, and other interesting Cobra and Shelby information.
· Participate in - car show, track events, cruises, and fun get togethers like our yearly wine tour, Christmas party, and 'Concours de Nice' (our annual car show).

Default 26th Annual Concours de Nice Car Show -- COCOA, OC -- Benefitting ALS (Lou Gehrig's)

The Orange County chapter of COCOA(Cobra Owners Club of America) presents the Concours de Nice car show, sponsored by Meguiar's Auto Polish, The Offices of South Coast Plaza, and Newport Shelby Cobras. The show will take place on Sunday, June 10, 2007, at the Park Mall at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa. The show will feature Ford-powered cars from several different classes, including Cobras, Shelby Mustangs, Tigers, Panteras, Competition Cars, Cobra Replicas, early- and late-model Mustangs, as well as certain Special Interest Fords. Class awards, and gifts for all entrants. A raffle will be held, proceeds to benefit the ALS Association – Lou Gehrig’s Disease – raffle open to public. It's a great, fun show, free to the public. It is a lovely setting with lots of incredible cars, and food is available at a cafe on the edge of the park. Come enjoy a day in the park, have a picnic, see some great cars, meet some nice people, and help us find a cure for ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease). Pre-registration is $35, registration the day of the show is $40 (space permitting). Participants are advised to register early to avoid being left out. Admission to the public is free.
