Default SoCal-Racing Dyno Day Presented by Granatelli Motorsports

http://www.socal-racing.com/showthread.php?t=92

SoCal-Racing.com will be running our first open (free for all) Dyno Day on the 5th of May! This will be an ideal event to test out how much power your car actually has, regardless of its stage of modification, and regardless what car it is! We would like to thank Granatelli Motorsports for this opportunity to run our much-awaited dyno day. All makes and models are welcomed, details below.

SoCal-Racing Dyno Day Presented by Granatelli Motorsports
Date: Saturday May 5th
Time: Starting at 7:30 AM for the early birds who want to get their power runs first, running till 7:30 PM (depending when there are no more cars to dyno).
Location: Granatelli Motorsports in Oxnard, CA (1000 Yarnell Place)
Features: BBQ, Music, Vendor, Prizes, Giveaways & 50% off any GMS products in stock

How much does it cost?
The Dyno Day is Free for everyone, but all dyno parcipants need to bring something to be donated to the Oxnard Woman Shelter. Canned food and clothes always work great. Just open your hearts. The idea here is to give what you can and receive a warm feeling and a free dyno pull or two. Contact Granatelli Motorsports for details: (805) 486-6644 or www.granatellimotorsports.com

Who is welcome?
We welcome all clubs and people with all cars to put their cars on their dyno, regardless of where they're from, modifications, type of car, etc. In addition, everybody is welcome to come and spectate (spectators are free) and enjoy the environment (and the beautiful smell of oil and petrol).

How do the trophies work?
Trophys will be awarded to the vehicle with the top HP and top torque – 4 cyl, 6 cyl, and 8 cyl (V10 and V12) compete with the V8’s

What else will there be on the day?
Granatelli Motorsports will be providing a BBQ lunch and music all afternoon. Granatelli is also offering a 50% discount on all GMS products in stock!!! Local vendors will be setup with the latest parts on display.

A few notes:

* A booking is required to run your car, it is very unlikely that we will be able to fit in people who turn up on the day wishing to have their cars dynoed. Please use the contact Melissa Lawrence at mlawrence@gopowertv.com or 714-437-3106 to make your booking.
* 2 pulls max on the dyno – more time available based on how many show up!
* Dyno Time is for HP Numbers ONLY - NO Custom Tuning
