Well, winter is here, there are no club shows or cruises until Knotts...it's too cold at night for cruises.....what can we do? Well, I have been thinking of it, and WE can go and make our own event! I have been thinking about this and I might have a solution.
In Febuary or March, we can head up to (or down to) the central coast of California to the great Dutch town of Solvang, that is about 25 miles north of Santa Barbera, and is surrounded by some very good vineyards. Wine tasting costs about $5 per person per vineyard, and if we can work out a group deal with 5-7 vineyards......please resond if you are interested
Sounds like fun! but I would have to bring the Land Cruiser to fit my four kids My wife and kids just LOVE Solvange.....

Awsome, I always love Solvang. Pick a date, we should see if we can get a discount on hotel rooms (if we can get enough people interrested)

TT, I was planning on meeting in the Solvang area (150 miles north of LA). As for other runs, well, there will be Knott's Berry Farm's Fabulous Fords Forever show in April, and the World Ford Challange VI in may....
OK!!!! March 8th is a go! I have 4 vineyards and I am working on a 5th, all charge about $5, so I am trying to get it all for $25 total, most give you glasses to keep, and on of the glasses holds half a bottle of wine!
