Default Performance shops San Diego/Torrance

I live in san diego north county and work in torrance ca. I'm trying to find a good performance shop in either location to do some extensive work on my 91 LX. Notably to replace/upgrade my engine.

Appreciate any help i can get.

san diego is kind of sparse. There is JBA but they are a lil expensive.

Try Manning Motorsports in San Marcos! I've been going there for several years and there is nothing he can't do.

Just some of the things he has done to my 95 GT.
T-56 transmission
4.10 gears
347 stroker motor( Manning built it himself)

Bar none Xtreme Mustang Performance in Aliso Viejo, CA . Call Eric at 949/305-6550.

XMP is a little expensive, but you get what you pay for. Eric will do the work one time and you'll be back n the road again without any problems. He has helped me with my car many times and always gets me back on the road without any issues!

Hands down Erick at XMP is by far the best choice. Every show his customers cars go to they always win. Performance is top notch. But i do dissagree with Maxx because i dont see there prices or labor rates any higher that the industry standard and they bill you on what the job takes not some book rate. I think they could charge more for the precison work that they do. Besides Ford gave THEM two mutangs to fix up for SEMA. Can any other local shops say that??? Ecample of some of the best cars around: Dennis Hall's 98 mustang, Kevin Butlers bad ass 98 gt, Joseph Pures 99 gt all have extensive magazine coverage. And he's local to North San Diego. Check out
www.x-m-p.com

Ill leave you with this, if you can dream it they will build it and then some.
