Default new tires for my 2004 V6

First off, I know that my name is 95silver but some guy hit me and totaled my car. So, now, I got a 2004 40th Anniversary V6. I got a flat the other day and I was going to get a new set but I didn't know what tires to get and I didn't want to get a set of tires without some research. So this is part of that research. What does everyone suggest and why. I think the size I need is 225/55, but I game for anything that fits. I don't want racing tires but I want something somewhat performance.

Thanks,

Matt

Depending on if you want new rims and tires:
I would say that Toyo Proxes T1R or BFGoodrich T/A (I like the KDW tread) are the best summer/performance tires. Nitto makes pretty bad-a$$ stuff, too: their 555 series or NT01 make great drag tires! But if you want tires for year-round, all of these companies offer all-seasons that are good. Plus, Hankook, Goodyear, Kumho all make nice all-seasons, too.
