I have the 17 inch aluminum premium wheels on my mustang GT. I was looking to change the rims and I found these that I really like. I know they are 17 inch rims that I have on there stock, but I don't know the rest of the measurements or how muc they matter. Heres the link for all you guys who are good with sizing up rims.
Actually I'm going with these. Idealy I want 17x8 correct? These are 17x7 just like the other ones...Will there be any problems since its not the proper size? Will the ride be rougher, handling be worse? Is it dangerous to be an inch off? Thanks STL.
No unfortunartely just 17x7. If you say its ok I'll order them tonight. I just don't want to have them rob performance. If anyone knows its you, thanks again.

Actually I'm keeping the stock tires because I bought the car in October and they gave me brand new pirelli tires. Its the rims that need to accomodate the tires.

I understood that. I just copied and pasted the size from the site. Its a link to the tires, but I was just using it because those are the stock size you have, and it says that size will work on those rims.
Its a shame they don't make them in a wider option.
Ah awesome so they will fit with no problems? Thanks a lot for your help. Whats the difference if they were wider, just a better look? Do you guys like the look?

The wider wheel is just going to lend a little more lateral stability to the tire. Don't think you'll notice a difference.
Awesome guys anything else before I click the order button? Anything I need to know about putting them on? I'm thinking of taking it to my local tire store.

I like the look. A wider wheel would just give you better options down the road when it does come time for replacements. But not everyone wants a wider tire.
Just ask the tire shop to take extra care with the wheels
