Smile What tires and rims? 2006 Mustang GT

Hi all,

I have a 2006 GT Auto convertble and I plan on installing the Roush suspension and turbo charger packages very soon...

For street use what combination rim & Tire size and width to maximize handling would you suggest?

the Nitto 555s have proved themselve as a very respectable tire, but it all depends on what size wheel YOU want.........do you want to stay stock size or go up to 20"s?? maybee go down to 15"s?? there are numerous options out there for you, and with how popular these cars are, you can get what YOU want, not just whats availible......get what im saying?? im confusing myself. lol.........basically, your options are endless, but it depends on what you want and what you are going to actually do with the car........road race, drag, street, etc.

i recommend 17's to 18's for daily driver. wheel wise, if youre looking for weight reduction the steedas are prolly the lightest ive heard of. Tires, no doubt Nitto NT555's. tremendous Street traction. i dont think 20's would do good cause of the rough ride... and 16 and 15's wouldnt look to pleasing to the eye for a daily driver IMO.

lol steedas ultra lights weight like 32lbs a piece you can get knock off FR500's that weight 26lbs a piece for way cheaper.

It depends what your going to do with your car as well. If you want it to handle good or hook up good.
