Default Aftermarket 18's -- Air Pressure to run?

Just curious what kind of air pressure you guys are running in your aftermarket 18" tires.......???

I have the BF Goodrich g-Force KDW's (255/45/18 in front, and 285/40/18's in back) and have just mounted them up. Since the recommended PSI listed on my door jamb is for the factory 17's, I am at somewhat of a loss as to what kind of pressure I should be running in my new set-up........

plain KDW? some reason I dont see it made in the 285/40/18
so Im going to use the KDWS's #s'

from the factory the stockers at 32 psi had a load rating at 1587 lbs
the BFG 255/45/18 at ----------32 psi have a load rating of 1614 llbs
(assuming the load rating on the tire is a 99, vs 93 these come both ways) Not a bad idea to look at that. Means alot actually.

And for the rear 285/40/18 have an approx rating at 32 psi of 1510.

So in a perfect world you could run 31 in the fronts, and 34 in the rears and then your after market tires would have the same load rating as the stockers.
Personally I would run 35 all around.
I love to confuse people

Yep -- they're straight KDW's with the new tread design.

At first I put 35 psi in them, then bumped them up to 38 psi -- I haven't run them out on the road yet, so I'll see how it goes at 38 and if the ride quality seems too harsh I'll bump them down to 35 and give that a try.
