Default wheels and tires

looking to buy a set of rear wheels and tires for the track/street... what sizes should i go with for both, i like the look of the 10.5 wide but should i go thinner to take advantage of the wrinkle wall? also i see and hear about people using the m&h 325's and also the new 295 mikeys, what would be a better choice? i am shooting for the 17 in rim also. thanks for any help Tom

With a 10.5 rim, I wouldn't go any smaller than a 295. I've seen 275's on a 10.5 and it's stretched a little too far. 315's or bigger are ideal on a 10.5. I would go for a 9 inch rim for 275's. I've never used M&H but you can't go wrong with M/T.
