I was looking into getting 18x10 rears and 18x9 fronts for my 2006 GT, but I didn't feel like buying 4 new rims. IIRC (and someone correct me if I am wrong) I don't think I would need spacers for the rears.

In the mean time, I am going to just try some KDW2s on my stock 18 inch rims. If I ever get into the track thing, I am just going to break down and buy another set of rims.

I have M&H 325/45/17 DRs on 10.5 deep dish. They are reported to not evacuate water very well but are really really sticky, so maybe not the best choice for daily that does real miles in all conditions. The only reason I use them is that daily work commute is 0.6 miles through a 25 mph zone and use a bicycle when weather permits. Of course, life span is going to be reduced because of tire compound but again my car has very limited street use.

I bought aftermarket chrome rims for my '07 GT and they measure 18x10 for the rear and 18x9 for the front. I went to tire rack for the tires and got Sumitomo 245/45/18 and 275/40/18, recommended by the technician/salesperson. The rims were $600 and the tires were $600.
