Default 1999-2004 Mustang Tire Widths

I've got a 99 GT and I'm curious as to how wide I can go with tires. Right now I'm just running chrome mach replicas 17 x 9 with stock 245's. I just put on a set of eibach's sportline springs and I'm planning on running 18 x 9's in the front with 265's and 18 x 10's in the back with either 285's or 305's. So my question is will I have any clearance issues with the 305's in the rear with it being so low? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

i think the most you can go is about 295's on the 10 rim i have 275's on my 18x10 saleen's and the tires are flush with the rim, if you go any wider then 295's then the tire buldges, tires wont wear right and handling will be poor the ass end will want to come out all the time...ruined my D/R's when i put 275's on a 17x9 rim and they never hooked would get better 60fts with my bald 245's

you can put 315's on a 10 inch rim with no issues. I have 275/ 40/17 on my stock rims with no problems.

I have the 315/35/17 on my deep dish bullet rims. Look sweet and I have the eibach pro-kit with room to spare. You could even go sportline kitwith that. Just go with the H&R kit because that leaves the ass end up in the air and the front real low. LOOKS AWESOME. Wish I would've went with those. The eibach is a good stiff kit that takes bumps well.
