Default 2007 Mustang GT Rims and Tire Setup?

I recently purchased 20X9 shelby Razors with 24mm offset. The 24mm offset should be stock. I also lowered the car with a Eibach pro lowering kit.
The dealer that installed them put 245/40ZR20 in front and 285/40ZR20 in rear. The front I think are fine the rim and tire are even with the fender but the rear stick out some from the fender. I have pics of the car on my profile. It looks great but I don't like the fact that the rear stick out just looks to beefy. Does anyone no if the offset would change this or should I just go with a smaller width for the rear tire. I found pics of the Trinity super car and it has 295 width in the rear and is even. I am assuming the offset had to be adjusted for the rear. Any one no the answer to my problem.

Sounds like you have the 5.5 inch backspacing, you might need the 6 inch version.

Default Rims and Tires

No the dealer gave me the boxes and the item #s match the Shelby website. They show a 24mm offset with a 6inch backspace. I think the dealer put to big a tire for that offset. I am going to call Shelby in the morning to see if they recommend a tire size to work with that rim that can still be staggered larger than the front but keep the tire under the wheel well. I don't think you can with that offset but we will see what they say. I don't know if I can go with a larger offset and keep the wider tire with that rim. I pulled info from that trinity super car and it has a 295/35 20 so it has to be able to be done. I just have to see if it can be done with that rim.
