Default Widest rim size on the rear?

I'm going to get it lowered 1 1/2" in the rear and probably 1 1/4" in the front. What is the widest 17" wheel size I can put on the the rear?
Does anybody have this suspension set up with 17" X 10 1/2" wide wheels on the back?

Did you mean to post this in the 2005+ section or do you also have a 94-95 Mustang?

I'm guessing you're talking about your 2006 V6 so I'll move this there...

i have 18x10 and although it looks good i would do 18x9 if i had the choice to do it over again.

Also you can't rotate your tires if you do 18x10, or 17x10 even, the 10 inch tires dont fit on the front, this may vary with different styles of rims but mine scraped my calipers on the front so i ended up having to buy 18x9's for the front

Great info XCHRIS! Do you have some pics of your car/wheels to share with the group?

Thanks!

I just bought a '94 GT a week ago for $1500.00 and now I'm posting on two different places. I know I've been on here for the last year with my '06, but now I have two Mustangs.
Now I'll be going to bot forums. The '06 has 20" foose wheels and I would never want to change those, but right now, its all about the '94 because it's totally thrashed. A good fix up car with what I believe is a strong motor and needs tires, so I'm thinking of getting rims for it too. It's getting its aluminum drive shaft and u joints next week when they come in.
Should I post a pic of that car when I post on that forum? If so, how do I have a pic for each forum as I post from one to another.
Also, could you please put this thread back in the 94-95 forum because the info I need is going to come from there for my '94.
