I've recently aquired a bone stock "97 Mustang GT and am considering a new tire/wheel combination. My preference includes bringing the rear tires out to the fender well. I think the current look is that of a pregnant roller skate! I've admired 10.5"s rear tire/wheel combinations on the rear and would like some input as to the wheel spacer width dimensions that would help to accomplish this modification.

If it were me I'd just pony up and get new rims in that width. They'll have the proper offset and will be safer than wheel spacers. Just my .02.

I'm sure someone else can chime in here on what spacers would work best though.
