Please post a picture of your car with black wheels.
I originally wanted the 93 Cobra replica wheels and would have painted the center cap, but I still think about the 03 Cobra replica wheels (which look their best after a 5 lug conversion - IMO). If I'm going to do the 5 lug conversion then I'd probably want some Bullit wheels. Anyone have the 5 spoke American Racing wheels that came on the Saleen cars?
Then I thought I'd just powdercoat my Pony wheels. Now I understand that the temperatures from the powdercoating process are real bad for aluminum wheels. Rattle can just doesn't seem like the answer either.
Just looking for some ideas since my car is ready for new tires. Likely I'll get the Nitto 555 or some B F Goodrich.
It's like buying tires is a 3 way decision: how much of a brake upgrade to do? followed by 4 or 5 lug? followed by what color wheel after choosing said wheel.
