Just installed 285ZR40 tires on my polished 18" factroy wheels at the rear. Will this size also fit on the front? If not, what is the widest tire that will fit (no, I don't want to jack up the car and test the bigger ones on the front, yet...)?

285 is going to be a problem in the front. How wide are your wheels?

The wheels are the 2006 18" optional 5 spoke, paintedf and polished, 8.5" width.

275s on 9" will fit.
