I Need To Know If 05 Stock Gt Rims Will Fit My V6 05. The Gt's Are 17 Inch And I Have 16's Now. I Have Heard That If I Change Tire And Rim Size The Dealer Has To Reprogram My Computer So The Trans Does Not Mess Up. Is This True? Thanks

the GT wheels will fit the V6, they are the same bolt pattern and offset for all 05's thru 08'.

But 16's would not fit a GT because of the larger Rotors on the GT.

So you will be safe. As far as the computer, I believe the over all hight from floor to top of the tire is the same on the stock. But maybe some one else can say for sure.

i think that you might even need to re-tune your speedo if you rims change even though the hieght/width o the tires have not due to the rotational force and what not. You can do it easily via a tuner like SCT
