Yes. I have 275/40/18 on a 10.5 on the rear.

thanks for replying, I was just afraid they would not be wide enough for the rim. my local tire shop said 275/40 will work up to an 11" rim.

I know you can go bigger, I just want to use what I have which is the 275/40. the concern is the sidewall not looking right.
