Hey guys, my stock pirellis are going to be getting a little tired here soon. Im looking to put some wider tires on her. What is the widest recommend in your experience on a stock rim size? Also, what tires in your experiences are an excellent all around street tire? Thanks.
i dont really know what sizes but as for tires im in love with Kumhos and Toyos eithier one in my experiance is great ive used them both since i started driving and never had any problems or bad experiances with them

I believe the widest tire for a stock width rim is a 255 series tire. I run the BFG KDWS in a 255/50/17. They are a good performance all season tire. They have great grip and are quiet. It really depends if you want a summer only or all season tire.

Ok thanks, im looking for a wider tire for better grip and a nice look. A 255/50 would be a good upgrade over the 235. Ive heard good things about Toyo, but I heard the BFG's were soft performed well but the treadware isnt desirable. Is this true?

I think it depends on how and where you drive the car. If you are tracking the car, you will see faster wear as opposed to spirited street driving. My BFG's have over 10k on them and look like new. And yes I do drive them hard at times, but not every time I drive the car.
