Default Tire Suggestion? 1984 Metric to 16X7 Wheel Conversion
Hello everyone,

I am swapping the stock metric wheels on my 1984 Mustang GT350 for a set of 16X7 Pony wheels. Can anyone recommend the correct tire size that won't rub the wheel wells? I'm considering getting Bridgstone Potenza RE960's.

There's a newer thread with that info in it but I'll put it in here too. Stock size is 225/55/16. I'm running 225/50/16(lower & wider by 5%) with a 1" suspension drop and I have no clearance issues whatsoever.
