Default Autocross tires for 2008 Mustang GT

Does anyone have a suggestion for tires for autocross for my 08. I am going to 18x8.5 inch rims so I can stay in stock but I am not sure what soft compound tires work well with the Mustang.

Well...I was expecting an answer like...something round

I noticed that is what the Steeda Mustangs are using, but what do the pros know?
