Default biggest tire on a stock pony wheel

hey everyone I have draglites with 275/50 BFG D/R's on my car right now, which with 500 horse still don't hook up too well. But I still have the stock hood on the car and I want to put ponies back on it to make it look Competely stock, I was just wondering how big of a rear tire I could get on them. I know I could get 17 inch pony R's but I kind of want the stock 16 inch ponies because they're cheap too. Thankyou.

Yeah I've been looking and looking for a 16x8 or 16x10 pony, but no luck just the 17x10 pony R. I wonder if I could get a 275 on the 7 inch rim?.

A 275 on a 7 inch wheel isn't recommended, it can be done but the side will be rolled over.
