Default 18" General Exclaim UHP Tires?

Hey everyone,

I'm currently shopping for tires to fit the rims that I'll be putting on my car. I've researched for a while and I believe that the General Exclaim UHP Tires on TireRack.com may be the best choice for me. They seem like an all-around great tire for a very reasonable price. However, before I finalize any decisions, I would like to get your opinion.

Here is some info on my use for the tires:

- Every day driver, no racing
- Needs to be a smooth, quiet and comfortable ride
- All around good traction
- Minimal / low tread wear

Do you think these tires are for me? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Gotadime

Default Price

Good price. I checked several other sources, and the $135 per tire price is a good one. My personal experience with General tires has been mixed, and I think that the Michelins get much better lifespan (but cost a lot more).

A lot depends on how long you expect to own the car.

Default Great Tires

Hey man I just upgraded my 05 V6 to 18x8 Ford Racing Wheels and ordered the Exclaim UHP's from Tire Rack, $135 plus a $50 visa gift card. I love them, I have only put about a 100 miles on them so far, but the ride quality and feel is awesome, and the reduction in road noise is amazing. Good luck, I don't think you can beat your bang for your buck
