What are diameters (wheel AND tire) of GT-CS 18" wheels ?
Anybody know the diameter of the 18" chrome rims that come on the California Special? I need the diameter of the entire tire. Thanks.
The reason is because I have the stock 16"s and a custom tune. When I put on the CS rims I need to know if I have to get my custom tune re-done to make my speedo and all work right or if it'll be ok.
each tire manuf. and tire size will have a different overall dia. one way you could see a bunch in one place is to log onto tirerack.com, there you can pick diff brands of tires and veiw the specs which will show the size rims and tire info. if you have a certain brand your looking at, and its not on tire rack, long onto their website, they should have that info also

You will be within 1% of your original tire diameter, no recalibration will be needed. Do you have a handheld tuner? (SCT.preditor)?
Well you should be able to change revs per mile with the tuner and not effect anything else. Im not sure if you have that option, i have the SCT. But the rev's per mile are so close 776 on the 16" bfg and 770 on the 18" Bfg. Not enough to condone a change
ya leave it alone. You do have tpms sensors in your 16" wheels, might want to take them out and swap into the 18"s unless it has them in there. Then they need to be programmed.
The new wheels will have TPMS. In order for them to be programmed are they going to mess with anything involving my tune? If so how do I get my TMS working and keep my tune?
