I am hoping someone can provide a definitive answer regarding wheel/tire fitment on my 2009 Mustang GT. The vehicle is currently on order and should arrive in about two weeks but I have already purchased new wheels and tires. I bought the FR 500 replica wheels 18x9 (front) and 18x10 (rear -7" backspacing and +40mm offset) as well as Nitto NT555 255/45/18 fronts and 295/45/18 rears. From prior searches, it seems pretty clear that the fronts will be fine. However, I am not as certain whether there will be any clearance issues with the rear tires. Since I don't yet have the car, I am holding off on having the tires mounted on the rims until I am sure they will fit the vehicle. Can anyone tell me with absolute certainty that the wheels/tires will fit with no problems? Thanks in advance.
