Default BFG G-Force Sport tires

so i have the BFG G-Force Sport tires which are an ultra-high performance summer tire and i got them in september and loved them the second i got on the pavement, but now that its november and its starting to get colder i have begun to notice that in the mornings when i start driving it feels like my car is slightly hopping down the road but eventually stops after everything warms up...it is said that it is not recommended to drive these tires in near freezing conditions....i live in southern kentucky so its not like were known for harsh winters but it does get as cold as the low 20s in early december thru february, i just wanna make sure im not going to ruin these new tires during daily driving in the cold....any input or advice would be great, thanks guys!

I would double check your tire pressure and make sure its not too low.

The tire is probably near freezing and the side touching the ground might flat spot if parked in one spot for too long. Once the rubber warms up, its completely round again and drives smooth.

Just a suggestion

I work in a tire shop that sells only BFG and Michelin products. The G-Force Sport is definately more of a summer tire. While it says "all season" on the sidewall, I've heard nothing but bad feedback from everyone I've sold them to regarding wet and cold weather driving. I live in Seattle where it rains for pretty much 6 months out of the year, so I try not to sell that tire to anyone using it year round. As a summer only tire, it's great for road and moderate track use. Too many heavy heat cycles though and the compound will break down and you will lose traction (watch out for tiny cracks in the tread). Next time you replace your tires look into the G-Force Super Sport A/S, it's pretty much the T/A KDW NT with a better tread life and lots of sipes for water evacuation.

I've had them on mine for about a year and a half, and havent noticed any bad performance, I live in Va, probably comparable to the cold you get in Ky.
