with snow now a problem once again i need to get some studded tires. i would park my car if i could but i can't. i found a site last year that i could get studded tires and crap rims just for winter but i do have my original 15 inch rims..


been having a hard time finding a site with studded tires for sale if anyone has any info please let me know.

Wow I am glad I do not have that problem It was in the 90s today out here in Calif. You probably did not want to hear that though.

hey jim yea i remember fall and winter in CA. i lived up by SAC for 13 years. now i'm hear in good ol WI. it was 28 today but sunny and dry. no salt on the roads yet so i still go out burn'n rubber . it's funny how could weather changes the characteristics of those soft 315's. boy do they firm up and spin easy.

Ya i got the same problem. I got a 94 GT and they discontinued the tire size so i had to change that. I have a 16 inch rim but Pepboys was the cheapest place that i've found. I probably visited about 20 differant stores. It cost me like $445 and a rebate for one tire (came out to $360 in the end) for 4 tires all studded. They charged like $12 per tire to stud them which was worth it. I also put a cooler in the trunk and filled it with sand to give me a little more weight back there. Also keep in mind that many places wont install a tire that you didnt buy from them cuz if they break the tire in some way it its more expensive for them to replace it. Hope this helps
