Smile I have a question about 22" wheels for my v6 stang .

Hi guy. merry X mas.

I want to put 22" wheels to my stang. Frankly, I`m super rookie so I don`t know what kinds of problems will be expected . I live in Los angeles which has crazy a lot potholes. So I`m pretty hesitate to exchange over 20" rims. Can I put 22"X10 fronts and 22"X10 rears
without suspension modification???? what is the best combination???
Please somebody tell me in detail!!! Thanks.

20 would be the biggest that I would suggest. I've seen two cars with 22s, but they looked too big. Theres a guy on cardomain.com named stangnshoes with 22s on a V6 who could probably help you.

Please dont go with 22'' wheels i am all about the style look but 22'' is just to big for a mustang if it was a suv or truck id say go for it but not on a sports car.

22X10 on the front will most certainly rub without a doubt. You will have to do suspension mods if you go that route. 19s look good but 18's look even better

22s on the front would be a virtual impossibility without significant suspension and steering mods.

22's and potholes don't compliment each other. Carry a reserve of cash on you for wheel replacement if you do it.

I think 22 x 9.5 will fit as long as he uses a rubber band for a tire. The tire will have to be very low profile.

i honestly think that 19's are perfect but tires are to rare for 19's so that leaves you with 18's and 20's and 18's are where i am going as we speck mine come in tuesday and they fit the car perfect and dont look like a ghetto piece of s***

What size should he go with to get the "ghetto-piece-of-s***" look?

22's are way too big
I like the look of 16s or 17's, sometimes 18's

I have to agree that 22" wheels are ridiculous from a performance standpoint. These are just a questionable fashion statement, It will look radical but plan on just parking the car and have people admire it, you definitely wouldn't want to drive it. 18" wheels seem to be the best compromise of fashion and function, even 20" is pushing it a little.
