What do you think about this set of wheels for my 2007 GT?
Hiya guys and happy new year from Spain!!!
I'm looking for installing a set of 20" wheels and i have several dudes. The first,i have seen on Ebay this wheels, but i don't know NOTHING 'bout the brand (AFS Wheels....) and i don't want to buy some imititation of poor quality....
These are the wheels: the tires look good but the price of the "buy it now" set is 1195$.........i think it's too cheap............
What's the difference between mounting 8" or 9,5" or 10" widht???? Is it for the tire widht??? I think 255 at four wheels it's enough, but i have read people with 295 at the rear!!!
And what about the tires pressure sensor??? Will i have to buy 4 and install them aftermarket???
As for your wheels, American Muscle is know for quality parts, fast shipping and great customer service. I have never bought wheels from them myself so I can't say how good they are but many people on this site have wheels from them and love them.

American Muscle would be the way to go. I must say though if you want faster performance that 20 inch set of rims will only slow you down. If you are going for looks that is another story and you will be fine.American Muscle sells the sensors also.

I would go with AM for them and if the tire diameter is the same as stock you will be fine. If not then yes you will need to have the PCM reprogramed for the size tires.

Thank you guys!!!
My stock tires are 235/50/18 BFG. They are 27,25" on diameter (The 255/35/20 is 27,02"... ),so i don't know exactly if i need PCM mods....

Will i really slow down between 235's and 255's???? I am thinking of having CAI,fuel injector and PCM repro Mods for getting some extra HP,'cause i think it's a chip and interesting way. Isn't it???
Regards.

Just guessing, your "dudes" are "doubts" in English? No lo dudo.
20-inch wheels look good standing on the ground, and in pictures. They introduce moments of force antithetical to accelerations and turning forces, so your car accelerates and changes direction less quickly. They also require shorter sidewalls, introducing ride harshness that may be intolerable in a non-show-car.
My choices would be 18x9.5 and 255-45 all around. or perhaps an inch-wider rim on the back.
