I work at Discount Tire so I see pretty much every tire out there but one that I've never heard any complaint about is the BFG G-Force. It grips very well off the line, handles well in the rain, and has a better tread life than the Nitto 555's which seem to be a popular choice on here. Just thought I'd give you my two cents worth. I'm picking up a set of them to put on my Carroll Shelby wheels pretty soon

so are you getting the BFG's or the nittos? Also what do people say about the Nitto 555 and the nitto 555R extreme drags? what are their ups and downs b/c im thinking about getting the nittos.

I'm going to buy tires for stock 02 gt.. it calls for 245 45 17's..can I, go to a higher profile without losing handling?
