Default What are the best tires for FR500 rims?

Looking to get a set of 18 x 9 and 18 x10 FR500 Replica Rims. Wondering what tires would be best. Live in south Louisiana so i dont drive in snow though we get plenty of rain. This is my daily driver so longevity would be great. Also would like a ZR rated tire so tire blowout would not be an issue if i decide to open it up on the interstate.

I really like the Sumitomo HTZ III's. They're not all season but handle pretty decently in the rain.

either the black chrome or the gloss black for the finish. also the wider the better. depending on the manufacturer and what they have available. would like to keep the overall wheel and tire size the same as stock so i dont upset the stock suspension geometry

up front i have 255/45's and in the back 285/40's. when i get new tires i believe ill go with a 295 in the back. the 285's stick out pretty good and youll be spending some extra time cleaning that rear panel. my ride quality was not affected as far as i can tell. do you have any type of programmer so you can change the speedo?

Toyo Proxes T1R are well rated on both dry and wet roads...Those are the ones I'll buy this spring...

getting a jlt II cai and sct x3 cal with income tax. do the 285's stick out past the fender at the top of the wheel well. also noticed you had different height ratios for the front and back. does this make the overall wheel diameter the same or does the back sit any higher/lower.

no the 285's are dang near flush with the top of the fender but down low they stick out past pretty good. yeah i had to get different heights cause they didnt make the 255/40's. they might now but there is now difference that i can tell. ill put up some recent pics from the side to help you see.
