Default Late model wheels!

What is the offset of the newer mustang wheels? How wide of a spacer do you need to put them on an early mustang? 1965-69???

Depends on the year wheel you are looking at.

If you use spacers to get them to about 0 offset you can usually make them work. On a 17x8 wheel I believe a 4.75 backspacing is the best fit, which I think it is -.6 offset or something like that.

Can the 2006-8 Bullett wheels be used? I confess that I am planning on putting them on a 1969 Fairlane so I mainly need to know about clearing the suspention, (Nearly the same as 69-73 Mustang). I figure I will need a 2" spacer, but there are some great Billet spacers out now and I will not be racing the car at all!
