A staggered tire wheel fitment is basically wider rims in the rear like 18x10 with wider tires like 275s or 315s. Staggered fitment on most cars are installed for looks and or for better traction in the rear. Since the rear tires on our mustangs do not steer they can go wider as opposed to the front tires which if widened may contact the sway bar, inner fender liners, and also the fenders themselves. If you have ever noticed most drag cars have the front runners or "skinnies" installed in the front to save weight since they are more concerned with straight line acceleration and also this helps with weight transfer when the car is launched. That is just a few benefits. So we have...
LOOKS - Deep dish rims (Wide)
MORE TRACTION - Big rubber on the rear to put power down
LESS WEIGHT/WEIGHT TRANSFER - Vehicle launches quicker
