Default mustang 05 with 2003 cobra?
i was wondering if cobra wheels from a 2000-2003 fit an 05 mustang. they are 5 lug n my 05 has 5 lug also but im not sure cuz ive heard there is a diff but just want to make sure

I have aftermarket 03/04 Cobra wheels on my S197, see my Pics. They are 18 x 9 with a 26mm offset and 6.XX backspacing and they fit, however they stick out past the fenders but i like that look.

I have seen pictures of guys running Stock 03/04 17" Cobra wheels on their S197's, thats what gave me the idea of running the 99 - 04 offset in the first place, so it should fit. I have seen an S197 running the 10th anniversary Cobra wheels and it looks really sharp! unfortunately they dont make them in 18".

I found the Cobra wheels on ebay made by "AFS", 18" with Black painted cut outs, it looks just like the Cobra wheel but the closer you get the more you realize its a custom wheel, gets great reactions at the shows.

I have a good friend with 17" 03-04 Cobra wheels. He has 315's in the back too and they fit with no fitment issues. Stick out a bit though LOL!

No issues at all, aside from sticking out past the wheel well but thats the look i was going for.

I have seen pics of guys ruinning these wheels on S197's lowered with FRPP springs(1.5"), this weekend i will be redoing my entire suspension with Steeda studd (1"F/1.25"R) and i do not anticipate any issues, i will keep you guys posted.

I actually just saw a 99-04 mustang with stock 05+ 17" bullets and it looked bad because the wheels were so far in the wheel well.
