my freind has a set of chrome cobra r wheels on a 95 lincoln mark 8 the car dosent run but has 4 new tires he offered them to me for 400 bucks wich is a good deal but what im wondering is if they will fit my 2000 gt without the need of spacers or should i just put them on and take a drive to make sure they are the right fit if i would need spacers how do i find out what size spacers i need if i need them

Tire Shop will be able to tell you what size spacers etc.. And they should have them there for a buck or two.. hope this helps ya.

yea thanks im hoping they fit without there is a huge spacer on the lincoln for them we are doing the switch on monday i will post on here how things go i assume if i have alot of whhel shake or things along that nature that i need spacers and if it rides smooth im good

ive been looking around online and read that the offset for mustang wheels is the same from 94 thru 04 if i measure the distance from the back edge of my stock rim to the back of the mounting plate and do the same on the cobra r's and come up with the same distance does that mean i wont need spacers?

hey if your interested I have a set of 03/04 cobra wheels w/ brand new tires on them for $700....the tires alone are $650. i know you won't need spacers or anything for these.

you will know right away if you need them, before driving it.. The tire shop that you go to will check the offset, and backspacing. Also another thing, I have a Set of 4 True Saleen Rims ( Chrome) With brand new , maybe 300 miles on tires, off the top of my head I cant remember what they are... Being that I have 2 saleen mustangs, its hard to remember the names of whats on what, with out looking. Anyhow the rims are comin off an 01 Saleen SC281 They have normal wear and tear, previous owner had a little habit of makin sure that he was on the curb when parking, but not that bad at all. Tires were over a grand, So I am takin offers, I was just about to put them up in the for sale section, however I seen above he was tryin to sell some cobra's , which are nice as well. And these right here are a direct bolt on to what you are working with. Keep an eye out for my posts comin soon. I have an 01 Saleen SC281, which it is supercharged. that is going up for sale, The car is lucky number 777.
