weld rims 15"x3.5" what tires? 1983 Mustang GT

does anyone no if ican run 26" tall tires in the front(will they rub?)
I have weld rims 15"x3.5" was thinking of getting m/t sportsman to keep street legal its a 1983 mustang gt 5.0 stock suspension any help would be great.

i don't advise running skinny's on the street....

if the car is mostly a daily driver,it will severely affect your braking and handling

you most certainly don't want to get caught in the rain......

Running skinnys on the street is not bad you just have to be more cautious about driving.

26" tires are fine they are just a tad bit taller than stock tires. The M/T sportsman tires are ok but they are Bias ply tires and I would never run them again. They make a newer tire the M/T Sportsman S/R and it is a radial design, have a nice tread patter (unlike the original sportsman tires) but are expensive. I have em on my car and they are great.

thanks for your help would you recommend 24" tall or 26" m/t sportsman s/r's again thanks i dont watse money im gonna buy some 275/50 15 m/t street radials for the back which are 26.1" tall, so i thought 26 on the front would look good and possibly help with wieght transfer to the back , that being said i have no clue. Any(more) help would be great
