Hey guys. i have a lowerd 94 cobra with some 18" rims and 275/35/18 tires. I am looking to get some new rims and tires and was looking at the weld prostar rims which are 15". What kind of tire could i fit on it? im going to have a 347 so i want somthing that will hook up pretty good but still last a while. anyone out there got somthing similar?

hey man nice 15" rim selection.. good tire wrinkle. anywho your probably gonna need 6.5" backspacing on the rear rim with 5x4.5 bolt cirlce pattern on a 15x10" rim. ok tires.. uhm probably go with 26x10.5x15 drag radials or slicks.. any wider you'll probably need tubs and other good stuff like that.

Check on summit, they have a wide tire selection and decent prices.

great man thanks for the advice. how do i find out exactly what backspacing i need?

like arnold said. 15x10 w/6.5 backspace. the 26x12.5 m/t dr or for street tires 295/50-15

what is the widest i can fit on my car? i heard that i wouldnt be able to fit wider than 285 on the car.
