Whats the best type of tires that are a decent price and have good tread life?

Type meaning all season vs. highway, radial vs. non radial, or type meaning brand and model.

i like the pzero nero that came with the car. but i also live in texas and it doesnt snow down here unless a major hurricane comes through, i do street, highway, and track driving. the pzero's do good on and of them

I just put some General Exclaim UHP's on my 2005 GT (255/45-18 up front and 275/40-18 in the back) and I LOVE them! They have very little road noise at highway speed, grip like glue, and look great on the wheels. They are very reasonably priced and I don't think you'll be disappointed if you give them a try, see the link below for info on them.

Size that you want has a lot to do with availability.

Goodyear Eagle GT would be my choice. Fairly new tire, within the last year.
