Will a 255/50-16 fit my 19991 Mustang GT

I have a 91 5.0 and curently I am running 245/50-16 street strip drag tires on the rear. So my ? Is does any one know if 255/50-16 will fit on the rear of my car any help would be great

I have a 265/50 15 tire and a 275/40 17 tire that both fit on mine. You may need to remove your quad shocks (should only be done w/ aftermarket control arms) but should work. You can check the tire dia calc on Google, it will give you a little more info to help.
