Talking widest wheels and tires on 1988 Mustang LX

i wanna put 17x10 in the rear of my 88 LX will it fit and what size tires......and if i put 17x9 in the rear whats the widest tire..thanks alot guys

10's will be borderline being too much without making modifications to either the fender lip, the quad shock, or both. You would need at the minimum 6 inches of back spacing. As for the tire, unless you do the fender lip and quad shock mods, a 275 would be the most without getting interference. Wider than that is possible but you'd have to modify things.
