i have a 89' GT mustang stock suspenison..i want to put 17'' wheels on it with a 245/45 tire..do you think it will work if you dont think so then what size tire should i get.

I'm running 275/40's front and rear on my fox with no issues. The 245/45's should clear fine.

I ran 275/45/17 on the front and 315/35/17 on the rear of my 96 Gt and it had been lowered 1" all around. The only clearance issues were in a full lock turn you would have some rubbing in the fender well up front. Nothing damaged.

I have on the 2000 gt stang 18x9 cobra bullitts with 245/30/18 on her right now you can see them on my pick I have new rims that I will be putting on as soon as my car is back from the paint shop. Going with the SHEBY TORQUE THRUST DEEP DISH BLACK 20X9 AND 20X10.5 IN THE REAR . IF YOU OR SOMEBODY MIGHT BE THINKING GETTING SOME 18X9 CHROME BULLITT RIMS TELL ME I MIGHT TRADE OR SELL MY RIMS THE TIRES ARE PRETTY NEW I GOT THEM LAST YEAR AND I HAVE BEN DEPLOYED TO IRAQ SCENCE JUNE OF 08 BOUGHT THE TIRES IN APRIL STILL GREAT SHAPE NOT RACED OR STOMPED ON SO PLENTY TRACTION ON THEM WELL I HAVE TO GO
