My 2007 has 26 MM offset wheel on it, they stick out past the fender but i think it looks awesome!! Check out my gallery to get an idea of what it looks like. After i lowered the car the "Sticking out" is less noticable. I have had NO issues with rubbing or cantact either.
24 mm WILL stick out further than my 26 mm.

which mustang u have with 26mm coz i saw a lot in your profile
what if i machined the inner center of the wheel can it fit my fender
You shouldnt have to, or want to, Roll your fenders or machine your wheels to make em fit. They will most likely fit but i would not spend any money to make em fit. If you got a great deal on em, slap on some rubber and get the wheels on the car, otherwise return em. If you think it does not look good you can sell em, theres tons of New Edge Mustangs out there that may need fresh wheels.
There's only one Mustang in my profile. 275-40-18 tires all around, its also lowered. 26mm offset, no issues.

nice car u have
but i think min will be more outside than yours
Look through this thread, there are several guys running +24mm offset's on S197 2005+ Mustangs. This will let you know exectly what its goint to looks like and if its the look you are goin for.
Going through the offset battle myself in selecting new wheels... Did some test fitting and found out that a +24mm offset with a 8.5 - 9 inch wheel works fine for the front with 255s but the rear needs a slightly bigger offset. For a 10 inch wheel in the rear and the ability to run 285s, you need at least a 45mm offset.
i will try to mill the inner side of the wheel to lower the offset but which size of tires should i install
i found some sizes in my area
265/35r18
255/40r18
275/45r18
