Default Sourcing 5 lug 14 x 5 steel wheel for 1966 Mustang

I'm looking for a stock (non-styled) 5 lug steel wheel for my '66 289 Mustang. I have 3 original Ford wheels with about 3 3/8" backspace and want to complete the set. Where can I look for one (I live in MA).

Welcome to to site! The classified forum for parts may help you more, but I have a spare 14 x 5 rim I don't think I will ever need, however it has about 3 7/8" back space. I measured this by laying the rim flat on a hard surface floor, "face of the rim up". Then stuck a ruler in the center hole and measured from the floor to the top of the center hole lip. I got basically 4" and took an 1/8" away for steel thickness and rim form bends. 3 7/8" ish.
Is this how you measured your back space?

I measured backspace with the rim's face to the floor. A 14" straightedge rests across the horizontal lip (not the outermost, vertical lip). Distance was measured between the straightedge and hub "seat."

I believe my 3 rims are original. They are stamped with the Ford script logo and are riveted construction (sets of 3 large rivets).

Thanks for the reply!

I measured my rim the way you did it and I now come up with your back space size, about 3 3/8"
It is an original 14 x 5, three rivot, Ford Logo, and three lumps for a dog dish hub cap in case they ended up on a Falcon.
I'm in central NH and if you are ever in the area and want to check it out just e-mail me at mowparz@tds.net
