Default whats the biggest tire i can fit on a 10.5 in. rim?

i have 17 by 10.5 on the rear of my car now. they are sporting 295/35/17 eagle f1s. i was wondering what the biggest size tire i can get on the rim with it still looking good and not rubbing.

315's seem to be the largest.

Next summer looking to go with:
Bilstien shocks + struts, Lowering springs (brand still TBD (any suggestions?)), MM CC plates, front + rear sway bars, subframes, and upper and lower control arms.
Time to make the pony ride some rails

hahaha i wouldnt go as far as that. unless you have poor quality tires. i have 275's on my 10.5's (and yes i know i could go much bigger) but tires are so expensive i might as well wait until these are through before i upgrade.

i have 295 eagle f1s got them brand new for 50 dollars. so it doesnt make me regret smoking the tires. but once i get the new tires i will limit the smoking lol.

This is gonna sound silly, but I had 315/35/17 mounted on my stock 17x8 rims. They ballooned out quite a bit, and you didn't get all the tread to the street. I recently bought some 10.5" rims for the rear and have no qualms about having those mounted. Now making sure they don't rub once the tire is as wide as it is supposed to be may be another issue.
