Default Going from 17" to 18" wheel?

Do you need anything special to go from a 17" wheel to an 18"? Do you need wheel stops? Do you need to change the size of wheel in computer?

I went from the stock 17" wheels to 18" GT500-style wheels... depending on what size tire you get, you may need to reprogram to computer to accomodate the new circumference relative to mileage.

I would just look for a complete set of wheels and tires on Ebay, there are lots of people selling factory take offs, Shelby GT 500s are nice and you know you are getting good factory quality...then just bolt them up and sell the ones you have...good luck, car should look and handle better

+1 on the post above. I was able to buy a take off wheels and tires from a brand new GT500. I bought the set for $900.00 and it only has 40miles on it. The guy I bought it from replace his with some really nice Alcoa's.

Nothing at all. Even your lug nuts are the same.
